Day	Destination	Description
Day 1	Anchorage	Anchorage: After we transport you to your hotel, explore Alaska's largest city or just relax. Overnight Anchorage.
Day 2	Talkeetna	Anchorage - Talkeetna: We'll travel this morning on a motor coach journey to Talkeetna, the historic mountaineering town that inspired the hit television show "Northern Exposure." It is home to an eclectic mix of people from artists and entrepreneurs to bush pilots and, yes, the occasional moose. Here, at the junction of three rivers, you'll stay the night at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. Enjoy the lodge's spacious deck, featuring quite possibly the most spectacular view of Mt. McKinley you'll ever see. Nature trails and optional excursions are readily available. Overnight Talkeetna.
Day 3	Denali	Talkeetna - Denali: Board luxury glass-domed railcars to continue your journey to Denali National Park. With the Alaska Range on one side and the Talkeetna Range on the other, the views are stunning. Tonight you'll be regaled with a sumptuous dinner and homespun entertainment at Cabin Nite Dinner Theatre. Overnight Denali. (D)
Day 4	Denali	Denali: Watch for big game and other Alaskan wildlife as you explore the rugged terrain of Denali on your Tundra Wilderness Tour. Mt. McKinley will be visible, weather permitting, so grab your camera for the short hike to Primrose Ridge. Later, you'll have free time to participate in some of the park's complimentary activities or to select from thrilling options such as a jet boat ride or helicopter flightseeing. Overnight Denali.
Day 5	Fairbanks	Denali - Fairbanks: Take this morning to indulge yourself in Denali's wild charm-don't miss the incredible Denali Visitor Center- before boarding luxury railcars to continue your journey into Alaska's amazing interior. Transfer to your hotel in Fairbanks upon arrival. Overnight Fairbanks.
Day 6	Fairbanks	Fairbanks: Visit Gold Dredge No. 8 to learn how it worked and have lunch. Pan for gold at El Dorado Gold Camp and learn about modern day gold mining. In the afternoon, enjoy a ride on the Chena and Tanana rivers aboard an authentic sternwheeler. You'll experience Alaska's diverse cultural heritage as you float by log cabins, visit a sled dog kennel and enjoy a bush pilot performance. We'll also stop at a reconstructed Athabascan Indian village to learn about native crafts. Overnight Fairbanks. (L)
Day 7	Fairbanks	Fairbanks: Your vacation in Alaska ends with a transfer from your hotel to the airport.
